ADVANTICSYS Develops the Interoperability Layer for DR-RISE Energy Systems Integration

The DR-RISE project continues to advance its digital infrastructure for data-driven energy management and demand response. A key milestone has been achieved with the successful development of the interoperability layer by ADVANTICSYS, enabling seamless data exchange across heterogeneous energy systems deployed within the project pilots.

The solution provides a robust data integration framework capable of collecting and harmonising information from multiple sources, including power meters, indoor environmental quality sensors and solar inverters from different manufacturers. By supporting a variety of communication protocols, the system ensures secure and real-time data acquisition while applying standardised data modelling approaches.

This interoperability backbone is a fundamental enabler of the DR-RISE demand response strategy. Reliable monitoring of energy consumption, on-site generation and environmental parameters across pilot sites is essential to enable coordinated actions and optimise energy performance.

Through device-agnostic integration and scalable cloud connectivity, the developed infrastructure establishes the technical foundation required to support advanced flexibility services and data-driven energy optimisation mechanisms.

In the next phase, the focus will shift to supporting pilot validation processes and enabling higher-level analytics and control strategies built on top of the integrated data infrastructure. These steps will further strengthen the project’s capacity to deliver scalable and interoperable solutions for resilient and efficient energy systems.

Stay tuned for further updates as DR-RISE continues to advance its innovative demand-response and energy flexibility framework.
