We are excited to announce a new collaboration between DR-RISE and DEDALUS: two European projects that share the goal of promoting innovation and efficiency in the energy sector.
DR-RISE provides end-users with a comprehensive suite of tools and services to empower them as active participants in the energy market. By offering detailed and personalized information, consumers can make informed decisions, selecting their preferred comfort level, risk level and operational actions.
DEDALUS, on the other hand, focuses on creating advanced models and tools to optimize energy management, improve grid flexibility and facilitate the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
Recognizing the common objectives and challenges faced by both projects, the collaboration between DR-RISE and DEDALUS represents a significant step forward in improving consumer engagement and energy management. Diego Arnone, coordinator of DEDALUS, highlighted the value of this partnership: “DEDALUS and DR-RISE have similar objectives and face similar challenges. Launching a collaboration between the two research initiatives is beneficial not only for the two projects, but also for the residential energy consumers who, properly engaged and by means of proper disruptive technologies, can start to participate in new demand response programs. This will be a significant step toward energy efficiency, energy consumption awareness, and carbon footprint reduction”.
