Co-creating Demand Response with residential users

Technology alone is not enough to make Demand Response successful.

Residential flexibility depends on people: their habits, needs, comfort, trust and willingness to participate.

For this reason, user-centred design and co-creation are essential. Citizens need to understand how Demand Response works, what benefits it can bring and how it can fit into everyday life.

DR-RISE places residential users at the centre of this discussion, contributing to a more inclusive and practical vision of energy innovation.

This approach is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the DR-RISE consortium partners: IDENER, TU Dortmund University, SET, ADVANTICSYS, SUPSI, STAM, DGS, Voltalis, smartEn, EDG West, Crowdhelix, Trilateral Research, CTIC and Electra Energy Cooperative.
