The project has proven highly valuable for SET, as the topic and the ongoing collaborations within the consortium continue to foster productive exchanges and technical advancements. In the initial phases, SET actively contributed to the development of user requirements and the analysis of the enabling environment, laying the groundwork for the implementation of effective demand response solutions.
Work on user modelling and consumer engagement frameworks is advancing well, ensuring that DR-RISE solutions are designed with a clear understanding of behavioural patterns, stakeholder needs and participation dynamics. Grid studies supporting demand response strategies are also progressing well, reinforcing the technical robustness and feasibility of the proposed approaches.
SET also plays an important role in strengthening the connection with the Bulgarian energy market, leveraging expertise gained from previous projects. This experience supports the optimisation strategies under development and helps address challenges related to living labs preparation and validation activities. Through these combined efforts, SET helps ensure that DR-RISE solutions are not only technically sound, but also aligned with real market conditions and user expectations.
