The Crowdhelix Energy Helix consists of a virtual cluster/community on the CHX platform that is being designed and developed as part of the DR-RISE project (WP6, T6.2) and will act as the backbone of the dissemination and exploitation strategies developed both during and after the project.The energy helix is envisioned to reach more than 150 relevant organisations and potentiate clustering activities with initiatives such as CA EPBD, BRIDGE and Built4People. The Energy Helix will profile and engage >150 organisations new international, interdisciplinary and strategic members by M36, including DR-RISE partners, members from relevant existing helixes (i.e., digital, nature building, cybersecurity, smart cities, solar energy helixes, etc.), researchers, industry actors, ethic and policy makers, civil society, participants of other relevant projects, and relevant actors across Europe/International. These organisations include key stakeholders, end-users, researchers, industry actors, ethic and policy makers, civil society (end users) and participants of other relevant projects, to promote and develop clustering activities on a European and international level. In addition to the facilitation of the communication and clustering activities for the DR-RISE project, the Energy Helix also has the capability to promote the project’s results to more than 13k collaborators and potential investors for further exploitation and commercialisation of the DR-RISE technologies. The utilisation of the Energy Helix can provide several benefits for enhancing the collaboration and clustering activities. Upon joining the Energy Helix, the DR-RISE partners, as well as external stakeholders and sister projects will be able to showcase their results for further exploitation, foster future collaborations with dozens of stakeholders and promote future events, conferences and clustering activities to boost their dissemination efforts. This in turn will create opportunities to nurture innovations arising from the project via collaboration.
